Rohan Grant
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Rohan Grant founded Garco Construction Services in 1999 and has led the company as CEO ever since. Raised in the rural district of Constitution Hill and educated at the University of Technology, he built Garco from a vision and a willingness to take risks into one of Jamaica’s respected general contractors.
Under his leadership Garco has weathered economic ups and downs, delivered landmark projects across Kingston, and grown a team culture built on collaboration and pride. Beyond its buildings, the company has supported families through scholarships and employment, and partnered with churches and communities in nation-building.

Our story
A Jamaican contractor with design-build in its DNA.
Garco Construction Services Limited was established in 1999 as a general contractor and construction management company with in-house design-build capabilities. Our head office is at 218 Mountain View Avenue, Kingston 6.
Our team includes architects, engineers, CAD technicians with years of design experience, and project managers experienced in design-build projects, general contracting and construction management, consulting and every phase of construction.
We take pride in self-performing concrete work, steel erection and carpentry. It gives us better control over the quality and schedule of the most important parts of a project, and it creates skilled work for the community.

Andrew Walker
Non-Executive Chairman
Appointed Chairman in May 2021. Andrew leads engineering teams at Google responsible for storage infrastructure behind Google Docs and the G Suite, and earlier helped grow payments company TxVia from a six-person start-up to its acquisition by Google. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and an MSc in Manufacturing Engineering from Georgia Tech.
M. Martina Shelton
Board Member
A Barrister of England and Wales and an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica, Martina is a civil litigator and the founder of Shelards Attorneys-at-Law. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Wolverhampton and an LL.M. from the University of Wales, and is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
